It is rare to see a politician personally using social media. Most politicians have teams that handle all of their online operations because they don’t feel comfortable with the technology. Not Nevada State Assemblymember David Bobzien (D). Bozien live-tweets from the floor of Nevada’s legislative session giving his followers up-to-the minute updates. He has also become somewhat of an expert on social media and politics, even leading a discussion on how social media is shaping politics and political reporting at the Nevada Interactive Media Summit. Bobzien is helping to champion in government 2.0, which is more engaging and transparent.
