Griffith Outraises Boucher In VA-9
(H/T @jenin140) According to the latest FEC numbers, Virginia House of Delegates Majority Leader Morgan Griffith (R) outraised incumbent Rep. Rick Boucher (D-VA) this quarter. Griffith raised $259,000, while Boucher raised $248,188.48 between April and June. Riley at Virginia Virtucon points out that “while Boucher raised almost $250K, he burned through $165,326.87 of it this quarter as well. Griffith started the quarter with just $89,629.29 cash on hand compared with the $297,000 reported at the end of the quarter by the Post.” This means that Griffith banked $207K, while Boucher banked only $82,861.61.
