NY To Fill 4 Assembly Seats Tuesday

The New York state Assembly will hold four special elections Tuesday.  While the outcome of the elections will not affect the Democrats supermajority, it will be an indicator of how New Yorkers feel about the job the Democrats are doing going into 2010.  Poll will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Here is a preview of the races:

3rd District (Suffolk County on Long Island):

Dean Murray (R) vs. Patricia Eddington (D)

15th District (Nassau County on Long Island):

Michael Montesano (R) vs. Matthew T. Meng (D)

24th District (Queens):

Bob Friedrich (R) vs. David Weprin (D)

89th District (Westchester County):

Robert J. Castelli (R) vs. Peter Harckham (D)
