State Sen. McEachin Looks To Help 2010 Candidates With PAC

Virginia state Senator Don McEachin (D) has launched a new political action committee, Believe in Virginia PAC, to help Democrats in 2011 state house races.  McEachin said “the PAC will help Democratic candidates supporting ‘progressive causes’ including the environment, non-discrimination protections for state workers and insurance for children with autism.”  Anita Kumar points out that is common for politicians considering a run for statewide office to create PACs; however, McEachin said, “I just want to be the best senator I can be and the future will take care of itself.”
