The Obama Administration's Deterioration of Counter-Terrorism

Liz Cheney, daughter of Former Vice President Dick Cheney, just spoke about current administration’s efforts to erode the systems and practices that keep our country safe.  Cheney explained that counter-terrorism is the main resistance we have against those sworn to attack our country.  Cheney (and I agree) believes that the Obama Administration is naïve when it comes to terrorism.   Advanced interrogation during the Bush years prevented numerous attacks and saved thousands of American lives, yet the Obama Administration wants to do away with it and persecute the patriots who executed those counter-terrorism efforts.  I think it is a disgrace.  I recommend reading Courting Disaster by Marc Thiessen if you are interested in learning about what practices the Bush Administration used to interrogate terrorists and the specific terrorist plots it prevented.
