VA Senate Arms Cuccinelli For Potential Federal Showdown

The Virginia Senate passed a resolution making it illegal for the Federal government to require Virginia citizens to purchase health care.  The Senate voted 23-17 to pass the measure.  Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) has repeatedly said that he would sue the Federal government if it passed a bill with an individual mandate.  This vote should help bolster his case, if Congress were to pass a bill forcing people to purchase health care.
